Blog Logic!

Hey! I learned something! When people still used boats as the main transportation, to tell how fast they were going, they would drop a certain kind of log in the water, attached by a rope with knots at regular intervals. They would count the number of knots in the rope, and however many knots they counted would signify their speed (less knots would mean a slower speed). In reference to the log they used, the term "captain's log," and even "blog" and "vlog." Yay fun facts!
