2013

Woohoo! I'm in Colorado, doing some skiing :D lots of fun, and I'm pretty awesome at it. Anyway, I was looking at some of my favorite blog(s) and seeing posts everywhere about 2013, best things of last year, and resolutions. And so, I have made a list of some of my own.


Favorites:
I really liked listening to Iris read her story/stories out loud. Honestly, that was one of my favorite things to do.
I got to go see the Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, and Les Miserables!! They were amazing! I like movies :)
I have gotten much more proficient at drawing/art in general, and I have truly enjoyed almost every second of it.
I get along so much better with my brother, after a lot of effort and sandwich-making.
I had a great time with my uncle, who taught me how to properly throw a football/how to play football.

Resolutions (warning: some are really random):
Do my absolute best to convince Iris to let me edit her novel(s).
Watch out for myself a little more. Honestly.
Write a song. Don't ask why, and don't ask if you can hear it.
Be a better friend (in multiple ways).
Learn how to do Daft Hands. Because that's just awesome.
Turn in every homework assignment we are given. I'm good about it, but sometimes I miss a couple.
Buy CDs instead of iTunes.
Learn all the words to Snow (by Red Hot Chili Peppers).
Get a real summer job.
Figure out how to use SketchbookCopicEdition (app for the computer), and get good at it.

Copic™

  I think it's about time for someone to thoroughly explain how awesome markers are. Those who are not artists (aspiring or otherwise) may not understand the complete epicness of the Copic™ marker. 

  These are the gods of coloring utensils, the most elite of the elite. I adore them, not only because of their striking colors and complete permanence, but also because they last. So. Long.

  Seriously though, they're awesome. But also super expensive, like 8 dollars each. I got 10 for christmas!!!! I am super excited to use them, and I may post some of the results >.> I'll keep ya'll updated.
