Oops, forgot Youtube

I just realized in my last post, I forgot to tell about youtube videos, so here they are. You might like:
Malk (and other videos by Julian Smith)
All of thepianoguys stuff, but for now I'll put Cello Wars
HISHE, or How It Should Have Ended. Look for this in Twilight, Superman, The Dark Knight, and all of the Avengers movies (including, but not limited to, The Avengers).
Coca-cola security cameras
Cat Planet (hehe)
Now,
That is all.

The Discovery of Minecraft and Media

Hey-o people. Today we had VBS (again), which, of course, will be continuing until tomorrow. But today, it pretty much consisted of some kid constantly hanging on to me, my interns (yes, I have interns) messing around (okay, I was too...) and the snacks being overly sugary. And you know, if I say its too sugary, then it is. Kind of an addict here. Anywho, right now, I'm a little tired, a little bored, and a little curious on how Thor got to earth after the portal-type-thing-that-I'm-pretty-sure-is-some-sort-of-rainbow-bridge got destroyed. If you're confused about this, watch Thor, then watch the Avengers. Which, by the way, is awesome. "Dost mother know you wear-eth her drapes?" Hehe, gotta love Stark.
So as of this moment, I am playing Minecraft. If you don't play Minecraft, you may as well skip this next paragraph, because it probably won't make any sense. I'm trying to figure out how to make chickens lay eggs faster, because I don't want to waste my wheat... it's kind of taking forever. However, I happened to spawn (well, I say happened to. I kind of used a seed) in a mushroom biome, which, by the way, is kind of amazing. Mooshrooms, for the win. If you want to see the world I'm using, the seed is: -1309634265. Don't forget the dash. I made my house on top of a giant mushroom, and made more grow so they're all connected ^.^ It's pretty sweet. It's also kind of odd, I've never actually found cows in any of my worlds (except for a superflat). Also kind of depressing. Iris once got a world where there was exactly ONE (count it, one) tree. AND she had to travel about a mile to find it. When she did, she planted the saplings a little closer to her house. Unfortunately, she has terrible luck with plants of all types (which basically means trees and wheat, pumpkins, and melons) which is ironic, because its kind of the same in real life. No offense intended, Iris, if you're reading.
I feel like I should offer some sort of opinion on music choices and movies and such (media, I guess). My friend did that in her blog, which I may make some references to. Its: http://westlakeib.blogspot.com/
so check it out. I'm listed as Thayer, I believe. I'm not actually sure... but her choices are in her check-this-out section. I'm gonna call mine the You May Like (or yml). Its gonna be super long this time... you might want to skip it. But then again, you might not. So, if you're into the same kinda music I am (pretty much everything except rap and screamo), you may like:
Music-
Dare (by Gorillaz). Also like Melancholy Hill, and Feel Good Inc., by the same group.
Oohs and Ahhs (by NEEDTOBREATHE) It's a clean rock group with good music (me gusta).
Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) Best. Ever. I'm pretty sure you've already heard it, it's very popular, but it's kind of amazing, so I thought I should mention it anyway.
Movies-
Iron Man (first one is best)
The Avengers (!!!!)
Thor (watched this the other night)
All the other Avengers movies.....(don't feel like listing them)
The X-Men movies, especially First Class (I love Wolverine...)
The Dark Knight (THE JOKER IS BOSS)
The King's Speech (has a lot of cussing though)
The Proposal (to the window....to the window....to the wall....to the wall....)
Bruce Almighty (LOL)
Stardust (^.^)
Books-
All of the Harry Potter series
The Girl Who Could Fly
Percy Jackson (if you want to like the movie though, watch it first...otherwise, prepare for major disappointment)
The Goose Girl (and others by Shannon Hale)
Manga-
Fullmetal Alchemist
Bleach
Fruits Basket (a.k.a- Furuga)
Alice 19th
Decedents of Darkness
Hetalia (LOL, but racist in the way of stereotypes)
Soul Eater (hehe)
Magazines-
National Geographic (NG)
National Geographic Kids (NG Kids/NGK)
Reader's Digest
TV shows-
Psych (try to find the pineapple in every episode)
Soul Eater (again)
Hetalia (the episodes are literally 5 minutes long, including credits)
Black Butler (by the way, these last 3 are anime if you hadn't guessed)
NCIS
White Collar (I like cop shows, can you tell...?)
Drop Dead Diva (it's actually about lawyers....)
Websites (for laughs)-
dearblankpleaseblank.com
mylifeisaverage.com (a.k.a. mlia.com)
cleverbot.com
9gag.com
Websites (for other)-
mangareader.net
youtube.com (of course)
google.com (just cause it's awesome)
ilovedoodle.com
(hmm...now I'm trying to think of other websites I go on all the time....well, moving on)
That's pretty much it for that part...just told Iris about my blog..not sure how she's gonna react O.o get back to you on that.
That is all.

The whole 'cat' thing

Okay. This is for friends who don't know the whole story, or people who just got really confused with the first post. I was at Iris' house texting my friend that in future posts will be dubbed 'Zorua'. If you don't know what that is, research dark pokémon. Eventually, she said, "hehe, you crazy cat," to which I replied, "I'M NOT A CAAAAAAT -.-" this lead to all the people who were there (which includes Iris, Dierdre, and she-who-must-not-be-named) making fun of me, and eventually I accepted my fate. So yeah, now you know.
That is all.

The body's natural defense

If you're curious about the blog title, I chose it because in all, it pretty much describes me and my friends use of sarcasm. Our definition (hopefully your definition too) of sarcasm, is, overall, the body's natural defense against stupid. In many situations, sarcasm can be very useful. It can produce laughter, or maybe make bullies just confused enough to give you time to run away before they beat you up (not that that has technically happened). Also, it's a good way to respond to an accusation of being defensive. We've all heard the question, "How do you respond when someone accuses you of being defensive?" That's how. Congratulations. Don't get me wrong, It's not good to use it in a mean way, just to be funny. Like, don't use it so intensely as to hurt someone's feelings...that's not a happy thing.
That is all.

Pretty Much It

Well, I've been inspired to start a blog (love you Iris, feel impressed with yourself ^.^ ). Eh, I'll probably quit after a while, but whatever. Anywho, this will be my place of venting and entertainment purposes. Probably. I'm not actually sure what I'm going to end up doing with this. Also, I am most definitely going to make many references, so if you don't know what I'm talking about, don't feel bad. Unless it's about something totally classic, because then you should just go sit in the corner.
I will most definitely be using code names, and if I'm talking about you, you're likely to know. Also, please comment with any mistakes I make using the wrong your/you're. Appreciate it. I, as well as most of my friends, am a grammar nazi. This is for you, Iris/maybe Ata (actually, I don't know if Ata knows who he is, in reference to my using code names....oh well).
Some things you should know about me are: I'm veeeerrrrryyyyyy sarcastic, if you hadn't noticed. And I enjoy making people laugh, as long as it's because of my stupidity and not ginger or kitchen jokes. More on those later. My friends think I'm a cat (long story, I'll explain in another post), but I have two dogs and no soft, adorable kittiness....so sad.... but I go to a charter school, I suck at writing papers, I love to draw (mostly anime), I make awesome popcorn, and I make Iris come over to watch movies that she should have seen, but apparently hasn't (and vice versa). Psych is my favorite non-anime TV show, and Hetalia is my favorite anime (at least right now...). My favorite manga is Fullmetal Alchemist, and I think Ed should stay short forever. Some of my favorite artists (musical, not like painters) are U2, Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, and whoever wrote the music for [title of show], because that is seriously one of the funniest musicals ever. Makes some pretty awesome references too. Hmmm... I play basketball, volleyball, and I may start cross-country again, I think lemon bars are delicious, and the only brownies really worth eating are ones made by Steamboat Willie or Mrs. B. Sorry Flint, but you do make awesome pound cake if that makes you feel any better... I think papaya is gross, I'm allergic to pineapple, but I'm not really sure what happens (don't ask), and I've seen the world's largest chocolate fountain. If I think of anything else later, I'll be sure and let you know.
So, as of right now, I happen to be volunteering at my church's VBS (Vacation Bible School) as a junior volunteer. So far, I have been clung to by a little girl, punched in the back and arms by my interns, and dumped many glasses of water (okay, maybe buckets) on their heads in retaliation. We had a water fight today, using those water-ball-things that you use in the pool but no one seems to actually know the term for them (comment if you do) and I got hit in the face about 6 times by a guy I don't even know. I grabbed the bucket we were re-wetting them in as he started back and poured it over his head (it was full of ice by the way). Ah, sweet, sweet revenge. I pretty much stuck by the snack table after that. VBS will continue for the rest of the week, and I'll let you know if anything else amusing happens.
Next week I will be going to sky ranch, so I won't be able to blog. I will, however, keep a journal (probably) and type it up when I get back.
  That is all.
